The food is sooooo GOOD. I will recommend The Bistro to all my friends and family This place deserves a five star for the friendly staff the fabulous food
Increditable excellent food, every item we had is so so so good. If you are in Parry Sound, this is a Must-Try restaurant.
Honestly, Id be giving it a half a star if that was possible.I have been here twice both times Ive had awful service and ify food. Though Ill give them credit for the first time I went. They were super busy and managed to find us a table for 4 in the far back. Not idle seating but when your a walk-in on a packed night that is full of reservations you cant complain. Though we were located right beside the bar/kitchen door, we were forgotten about 90% of the time and our meals were ify at best. They did apologize for leaving us alone most of the night and gave us a free desert. We thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe try Bistro by the Bay another time.This time however, there was no excuse. The patio was the busiest part with 6 tables full, including our own, and 2 inside. We only saw our waiter maybe 4 times. Only once did he show up without us having to chase him or have other staff put the heat on him. The kitchen staff were far more apologetic and cooperative than the waiting staff. Outstanding kitchen staff if I do say so though my only complaint with them was that our meals were bland and tasteless. I honestly wish there was more seasoning in the Calamari sauce and get rid of the canned lobster for the rolls. It just was bad form.We watched tables who arrived after us get their apps and meals before us. Other waiting staff completely ignored us and wouldnt even talk to us or make eye contact until we stood at the front door, even then I had a few walk past me! So disappointed with this place seeing all this amazing reviews. In my family we like to think of ourselves as kind of foodies. We will never be coming back here again. If you are hard set on sitting in the harbour for your meal. Go to Boston pizza just down the way. Trust me you will get better results and have a better experience!
A true gem ....very very good... I would reccomend this Bistro over and over again
Honestly only went for appetizers, French onion soup is good, sweet potato fries are amazing and the homemade dip they come with! Very impressed. The server was very good with us too!
