Mixed feelings. The fries were excellent. Lovely texture. I will likely buy fries again and do the salt and vinegar thing. Good fries at reasonable prices for okish portions. The poutine wasn't worth it though. Small portion for the price, skimpy on the gravy and non melted cheese (Not enough hot gravy). Poutine should be a no brainer... large and sopping with melted cheese and gravy...
Serves fries and soft drinks. Open seasonally. Popular place for tourists during summer months.
Great fries and fast service
The fries were great, as ever. A little pricey in my opinion, but most chip trucks are. The customer service however, was terrible! The young man who served me was obviously upset that I was "bothering" him. My order came to $4.50, I gave him $5 and said to keep the change. He rudely tossed it into the tip jar and said nothing (ok...I know it wasn't a great tip, but that's not the point). There were no manners here, nor even eye contact. He took the change as if I owed it him. He might as well have told me to go **** myself. I sooo wanted to reach into the tip jar and remove the 50 cents I had contributed....but didn't want to look like I was stealing. My advice to the young man is; if you dont like your job, move on.....perhaps somewhere where you don't have to be face to face with customers! To Mr.Chips; either take a little more care in hiring your employees, or train them better. If Home Hardware & P.S. Fuels can do it, so can you.Not sure I will be back....what a shame.
Had a great experience with the young guy running the truck. He was friendly and when I asked for the fries to be well done, he fried them perfectly!
