We love this place, have made sure that we always stop here when we are on the south channel, If you are lucky and you time it right, taco-fest is a must, amazing tacos! and buckets of beer for a pretty good deal. and they have a nice little beach for our dog to hunt for minnows at while we relax and enjoy a drink. And I can't forget to mention the giant screen floating on the dock, nice touch! If you are boating along that south channel, this is a must do.
We went yesterday to their Patio (it is downhill from the actual lodge, it has a private marina). The servers were really great (our main server has moved to Parry Sound recently from Toronto where he used to work at a high-end restaurant so expect a really good and friendly level of service). The food was good, especially the pan bread with Smokey bacon, a real highlight of the dinner (the chutney tomato sauce on it was something special). I had half a rack with fries which was fine and my wife had chicken wings which were good. It has a giant screen right outside mounted on the water itself (it is made of several smaller screens). The price was fair for the location. It has limited seating so reserve in advance (especially in high sesson I guess since yesterday it was half empty).
We liked this place. Cabin 4 was 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a couch. Arrival is a bit vague as there is no signage and no obviously formal office. Go to the restaurant by the water and they will take care of you. Very low key. I actually liked it and would be happy to go back. We used this as our base for taking the 30k island cruise.
This is an amazing place on the Bay for drinks and food with friends!! Their food was sooooo good. Omg bacon! And the staff was very friendly. You can tell they really like their jobs! I would highly recommend a visit here.
Love this place, it's only open in the late spring/summer. Located right on Georgian Bay. A few friends and myself just went there and had their delicious Caesars (mine a virgin as I'm pregnant) but still great! Looked at the menus but didn't order food this time, last year we were never disappointed though. Can't wait to take the boat there and have dinner and drinks this summer
